Hola otra vez. Bueno sólo quería decir que acabo de apuntarme a un Challenge (o reto) que organiza Martha at Ayala Art. Consiste en pintar o dibujar una cara al día durante este mes de mayo. Lo bueno es que se pueden publicar "obras" no terminadas lo que resta un poco de estrés a la cosa. Como hacía tiempo que no había pintado o dibujado, pensé que podría ser un buen ejercicio para mantener la practica. A mi me gusta el mixed-media así que lo más probable es que use pintura acrílica, acuarela, pasteles y lapices, o todos juntos o una mezcla de algunos y espero poder seguir el ritmo. Aprovecho para volver a poner mi retrato de hoy como primera publicación de ese Challenge; lo terminé ayer pero ya estabamos al 1 de mayo. Algunos pensaran que ya estoy haciendo trampa, pero no, no, no, de verdad es del 1 de mayo y de todas formas como me voy a una barbacoa ahora y no me dará tiempo de hacer otro. ¡Que cara!

Hello again. I just wanted to let you know that I have just registered to Ayala Art´s 29 Faces Challenge that Martha is hosting during this month. The good thing about it is that you can publish unfinished artwork which makes the thing a little less stressful. Since it has been a long time since I last painted or drew, I though it could be a good practice exercice. I love mixed media and I´ll probably use acrylic paint, watercolour, pastels and graphite pencils, a mixture of all or no and only hope to be able to keep up the pace. I am taking this opportunity to publish again the portrait I finished yesterday as my first post for this challenge; I finished it yesterday, but it was already May 1st when it was completed. Maybe some of you will think that this is cheating, but, no, no, no, really, it was finished very late last night or very early this morning, but in May. Anyhow, I am going to a BBQ party now and won´t have the time to do another one. How cheeky!
